Judge II Viewing Booth

Judge II is an invaluable tool for evaluating a coloured diamonds quality and uniformity.

accurate coloured Diamond decisions with the Judge II

  • GretagMacbeth's patented seven-phosphor fluorescent daylight technology renders colour more accurately.
  • With five different light sources – simulated daylight (D50), cool white fluorescent (CWF) at 4150K, incandescent home lighting (Illuminant "A") at 2856K, custom fluorescent (TL84 or Ultramarine 30), and ultraviolet (UV), Judge II gives the ability to detect metamerism (colours that match under one light, but not another).
  • Ultraviolet source can be used by itself or in combination with any of the light sources for detecting and evaluating optical brighteners, whitening agents or fluorescent dyes and pigments.
  • Exceeds major international standards for visual colour diamond evaluation including: ASTM D1729, ISO3664, DIN, ANSI and BSI.
